Black Powder... just like the Columbians always dreamed of...
Earlier today (7/1/12 for those that wondered) I played a game of Black Powder, and enjoyed it immensely!
I found it had a nice "general commanding his armies" feel to it, with an easily accomplished sense of perspective. (Looking down on 10mm figures like a giant, made me feel much taller lol!)
So, now I've purchased and downloaded myself a copy of the rules (thank god for .pdf rulebooks!) and shall have to ponder seriously about picking up a few miniatures to play. I just need to accept that I have too make, and need to either shift, or actually paint up the other however-many-hundreds of unpainted miniatures I have.
