So, I've said a little about me, so it somehow seems proper that i put a bit more information about me, and why I am... well, like I am!
Soooo here we go...
My interest in Miniature wargaming started at a young age. I can remember when i was about 7 my parents took me and my brother to a friends house, and I saw their eldest son's collection of Games Workshop stuff, from that first glance, I was literally hooked!
I remember the first game I was bought, Heroquest when I was 9, closely followed by Space crusade when I was 10. Then, I was an actually player instead of a long term "wanter!"
After that, I slowly trolled car boot sales buying up old GW games, and withing a few years I had picked up Space Marine, Blood Bowl, Dark Future, Warhammer 40k, Warhammer fantasy and a few others such as Battlemasters, Trolls in the pantry, Oi dats my leg and so on...
When I was 15 - 16 Necromunda came on the scene.
The rest, is history...
PANDA HAT!!!!!
Emma, Or EmsyPanda occasionally...
Or as I refer to her, the BOSS!
(and when you read this Emma, please don't kill me!)
What the future brought?
Me, plus Tatws. He's the cat for those that wondered...
So, since my new found re-interest in Necromunda, and as such, new miniature games, I have gained a new, and greater appreciation!
I started by deciding that building a gaming table, and populating it with scenery within a month was sensible. That was my first mistake! Then I bought a few miniatures, in the hopes I'd find people locally that played. I didn't..... curse you Games Workshop!
So, the games I play, or hope to are currently;
Combat Zone, which is a fairly unknown 28mm skirmish game. Ex-illis, which is a fantasy game, using both miniatures, and a computer. H.O.T.T, which is the ultimate army skirmish game I reckon! I've recently taken the plunge, and bought myself some Napoleonic miniatures, I always liked them, but never quite got around to getting some! And... well, I'm pondering about buying Operation Squad, the new edition of Warhammer 40k, board games like Smallworld, Civilisation, and then... who knows!
